Reporting to the Provost, the Associate Provost responsible for the Teaching and Learning Transformation Center (TLTC) at the University of Maryland will lead a unit with three primary responsibilities: 1) support for teaching and learning through research-based faculty development; 2) lead campus initiatives in online course and program development, including massive open online courses (MOOCs); and 3) assessment and analytics projects related to teaching and learning.
The unit’s mission is to support and improve student learning by following and developing pedagogies and technologies in a continuous process of improvement. The unit will provide service to faculty and units across the entire campus.
