Position: The Department of Educational Psychology at the University of North Texas (UNT) seeks a senior lecturer with an established record of strength in teaching and service to support the Department’s academic, professional, and scholarly initiatives. This is a non-tenure track, three-year appointment to start Fall, 2017, and renewed annually pending satisfactory performance evaluation. Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience and background.
Minimum Qualifications: The candidate must hold a doctorate in an area closely aligned with Family Science (Family Science, Educational Psychology, or a closely related discipline). Evidence of a strong teaching philosophy and student engagement is expected.
Preferred Qualifications: A record of effective teaching and service with a minimum of three years teaching at the college or university level. Experience in online course development or teaching.
Responsibilities: The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the continued development and success of the Department of Educational Psychology and the Human Development and Family Science undergraduate program. Specific responsibilities will include teaching 4 family related undergraduate courses per semester, and participating actively in service to the Department and the College.
