Under the administrative direction of Chair of Psychology Department, this individual is responsible for Directing the School Psychology Assessment program whose purpose is to provide training opportunities for School, Clinical and Forensic Psychology graduate students to fulfill practicum work and gain practical experience in psychological assessment, evaluation, interviewing and treatment planning.  Included in these tasks is:

    1. Finding referrals for the Assessment program and establishing the protocols for assessment and reporting.  Develops relationships with school systems and other sources of referrals.
    2. Ensuring that  clear, technically sound, accurate and informative reports containing findings, conclusions  and recommendations are prepared.
    3. May serve on standing and ad hoc committees.

Other duties may include teaching academic courses related to assigned functions, training and supervising the work of graduate students, graduate interns and graduate practicum students, conducting research related to assigned responsibilities, and developing and conducting training workshops and/or seminars.

QUALIFICATIONS  A Ph.D., Psy.D. or an Ed.D. degree in School and Clinical Psychology, Certification as a School Psychologist in the State of New Jersey and License or License eligibility in Psychology in the State of New Jersey. Thorough knowledge of the theory, principles and techniques essential to performance of the  specific responsibilities assigned. This includes knowledge and experience in Psychological Assessment,  (Cognitive and Personality Assessment) and Educational Assessment;  knowledge and experience in Psychological Interviewing.

SALARY RANGE Salary dependent upon qualifications
