Dr. Aprile Benner in the Department of Human Development and Family Sciences at the University of Texas at Austin is seeking a qualified PhD-level researcher for a postdoctoral fellow position. The initial appointment will be for one year. The position involves work on several research projects exploring how social contexts and experiences of marginalization influence the development of low-income and race/ethnic minority youth. Ideal candidates will have knowledge of advanced quantitative methods (e.g., SEM path analysis models, growth modeling, latent class analysis, multilevel models), experience with large-scale data sets (e.g., Add Health, ELS, ECLS-K), and strong writing ability and publication record. Position to start in summer 2012. Salary is in accordance with NIH standards.
