The Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences at Indiana University (IU) is seeking applicants for an open rank (i.e., Assistant, Associate, or Full) tenure-track professor faculty position in the area of clinical psychology. Area of research specialization within clinical psychology is completely open. Our doctoral clinical psychology program has an excellent track record of funding graduate students, including an NIMH-funded T32 translational science research training grant, among others. The program is accredited by PCSAS and APA.
The department provides strong support for the continued professional development of early and mid-career faculty, evidenced by a strong track record of mentoring tenure-track faculty from point of hiring to tenure and to promotion to full professor. The university provides competitive startup funds, and the department arranges service and teaching assignments so that pre-tenure faculty can prioritize time on research.
Applicants should have a program of research with the potential for growth and contributions to the department’s research mission. Teaching responsibilities typically include three courses per academic year.

The research statement should include a short research narrative that highlights what you find most exciting about your existing research, the key questions that excite you, and how you will develop a research program around those questions.
