The College of Education at Auburn University announces an Assistant Clinical Professor position in the Educational Psychology (EPSY) program.

We are actively seeking candidates who will strengthen the diversity of our faculty in order to reflect the diversity of the students in our department, our college, and in the broader community.

The EPSY program supports the College of Education’s commitment to undergraduate and graduate education by offering coursework in educational psychology. We are seeking faculty committed to practice with expertise in applied educational psychology. Responsibilities: (1) undergraduate teaching in educational psychology, (2) graduate teaching in educational psychology, (3) coordinating service learning programs commensurate with workload allocation, (4) online/distance course development and teaching, (4) research assignment commensurate with workload allocation.

Minimum Qualifications:
Required Qualifications: (1) earned doctorate in educational psychology or closely related area, (2) professional experience in K-12 schools, (3) undergraduate and graduate level teaching, (4) extensive knowledge in educational psychology in the areas of development, motivation, learning, and assessment, (5) ability to meet eligibility requirements for work in the U.S. at the time of appointment and throughout the term of employment,
(6) excellent communication skills.

Desired Qualifications: (1) evidence of successful experience developing and teaching distance education courses, (2) evidence of successful experience collaborating with schools, and (3) expertise in content areas that complement or extend existing program faculty.
