The University of Tennessee Educational Psychology Program is accepting applications for a Tenure Track Assistant or Associate Professor position to serve as a core faculty member. Full Time, 9 months, begins August 1, 2024.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain a line of research within a cohesive research agenda, with expectations to pursue external funding to support research and/or training initiatives
- Teach two educational psychology courses each fall and spring semester
- Oversee Graduate Teaching Assistants serving as instructors of record for undergraduate teacher preparation courses in Educational Psychology
- Actively engage as a core faculty member (e.g., participate in faculty meetings, admissions review process, student review processes; participate in dissertation and comprehensive exam committees; serve on program or department committees as needed)
- Engage in meaningful service and leadership activities in all aspects of the program. Provide leadership and service in the department, college, university, community, and profession.
- Serve as a professional role model for students via sustained memberships in professional organizations (e.g., APA, AERA, etc.); engaging in ongoing professional development
