Description

The Department of Educational Psychology has a tenure-track position available August of 2019. Teaching responsibilities will include graduate courses in introductory and advanced topics in statistics and research methods. The courses covered will serve the doctoral and masters programs within our department, which include PhD’s in School Psychology and Educational Psychology, and Master’s Degrees in Quantitative Psychology, School Psychology, School Counseling, and Educational Psychology. The courses also serve a wide range of graduate programs from the College and University. Instructional settings will include both online and on campus modalities. An active research agenda is required for successful progress in the tenure process, with flexibility in area of expertise. Service to the University, community, and professional community is required for successful performance in the department.

Minimum Qualifications

Ph.D. in Educational Psychology, Quantitative Psychology, or related field from an accredited institution conferred by date of appointment.

Preferred Qualifications

University teaching experience in research methods and statistics, experience applying statistical and research methods to educational settings, grant writing experience. Research that supports the mission of the University, College, and Department and supports research development of doctoral and masters students. Expertise and/or scholarly interest in topics related to diversity and experience with supporting and promoting diversity in research, educational access, or social justice.
