The Psychology program at Penn State Erie, The Behrend College, is seeking a full-time, tenure-track, Assistant Professor of Educational Psychology beginning August 2019 Responsibilities include innovative instruction, research, scholarship and community and professional service. Courses will include educational psychology, statistics, educational theory, and courses in human development. Applicants with ability to teach in areas such as program evaluation, principles of measurement, social, cross-cultural, or multicultural psychology are especially encouraged to apply. A doctorate in psychology or related field, completed by start of employment, is required. College teaching experience preferred. Experience securing external funding is desired. Research area for this position is open; research is expected to involve undergraduate students.

Penn State Behrend is a four-year undergraduate and graduate college of the Pennsylvania State University with 4,500 students and 34 baccalaureate majors in four schools: Business, Engineering, Humanities and Social Sciences, and Science.
