The Department of Human Development and Family Studies at the University of Missouri (http://hdfs.missouri.edu) has an opening for an Assistant Teaching Professor to begin in January, 2014 or August, 2014. This non-tenure track 9- month position will involve teaching a writing intensive lifespan human development class and on-campus and online classes in early childhood education, advising undergraduate students in our Child Development and Education emphasis area, and participating in service or research.

Applicants should have a PhD at the time of hiring in human development and family studies, early childhood education, or a related field. The Department focuses on lifespan human development and families in a variety of relational, social, and cultural contexts.
