The George Mason University, Educational Psychology Program within the College of Education and Human Development seeks a tenure-line faculty colleague (Assistant/Associate Professor, Educational Assessment and Program Evaluation) who can teach graduate courses and conduct research in the areas of educational assessment and program evaluation.

Responsibilities include developing/maintaining a consequential research agenda; supervising students in practicum and field experience settings; and teaching introductory and advanced courses focused on (a) assessment principles and practices at multiple organizational levels, and (b) program evaluation in the context of social services with an emphasis on educational programs.

Required qualifications include an earned doctorate in evaluation, educational psychology, or a related field; and a record of (or demonstrated potential for) scholarly productivity and external funding. Area of research interest is open but versatility is expected with a clear emphasis on assessment, evaluation and testing. Candidates are also expected to have a strong commitment to teaching excellence, respect for the importance of diversity in assessment and evaluation settings, and experience supervising and mentoring graduate student research.
