The School of Applied Health & Educational Psychology in the College of Education at Oklahoma State University is seeking an outstanding scholar at the associate/advanced assistant level in the area of Educational Psychology with research and teaching interests in one or more of the following areas: learning, instruction, cognition, human development, or motivation. We are also looking for candidates capable of taking a leadership role in the Educational Psychology program as Program Area Coordinator. Program Area Coordinator responsibilities include representing the program area at the School level and with the Graduate College, coordinating admissions and advising, course rotations, assistantship appointments, and other tasks related to managing the Educational Psychology program.
Though not required, previous experience in K-12 education is valued as a basis for partnering with other faculty in teacher education scholarship and instruction.

Rank. Associate/advanced assistant Professor, beginning August 2015 for a full-time, tenure track position with a nine-month academic year appointment (pending budget approval).
Qualifications. Ph.D. in Educational Psychology; expertise in learning and instruction, cognition, motivation, and/or human development; evidence of scholarship and research productivity; evidence and/or potential for obtaining extramural funding; demonstration of collaboration skills for cross-disciplinary research, teaching, and service.
Responsibilities. Fulfill the mission of a land grant university by (1) collaborating with program area faculty, and university entities; (2) teaching educational psychology courses at the master’s and doctoral levels; (3) supervising graduate teaching assistants’ instruction of undergraduate courses; (4) securing funding and publishing research findings; (5) directing theses and dissertations; (6) serving on School, College, and University committees. Additional duties may be assigned by the School Head.
Salary. Commensurate with qualifications and experience.
