Ever wondered what it would be like to work in the U.S. Congress? Want to expand your public policy knowledge and skills? APA/APF’s Congressional Fellowships prepare psychologists to contribute to the federal policy making process and make a difference on issues impacting our society. Consider applying today!

WHAT TO EXPECT

Fellows spend one year working with a member of Congress or a congressional committee learning how to draft legislation, conduct oversight work, and prepare briefs and speeches. Fellows also attend a two-week orientation program on congressional operations and participate in a yearlong seminar series on science and public policy issues.

All fellows receive a stipend and reimbursement for health insurance coverage, professional development, and relocation expenses during the fellowship year.
