The Department of Educational Psychology, School of Education and Human Development at Texas A&M University (effective August 15, 2024, the School of Education and Human Development will change its name to the College of Education and Human Development) invites applications for a Clinical Assistant Professor of Human Development and Family Sciences (HDFS). Primary responsibilities will be instruction and active engagement of students in the HDFS undergraduate program, including the design and instruction of a range of undergraduate-level HDFS courses, supervision, and engagement of students in high-impact learning activities and in community practicum, and occasional graduate- level instruction. The HDFS undergraduate program is a newly established degree at Texas A&M University, and this position allows the faculty to work closely with faculty in the Learning Sciences division and other programs in the Department of Educational Psychology to successfully launch and grow this new program. Applicants are expected to have successful university-level teaching experiences with undergraduate students.
