Assistant/Associate Professor Educational Psychology, School-Based Assessment (Term Faculty)The George Mason University, College of Education and Human Development is seeking a term faculty member to help initiate a new certificate program in Data-Driven Decision-Making for Continuous Educational Improvement and to teach other master’s-level courses in the assessment, testing and evaluation concentration in the Educational Psychology Program. The candidate will also supervise student capstone projects, serve on thesis committees, foster partnerships with regional school divisions, and provide support for a new Center for School-Based Research, Data Analysis and Policy Briefing.

Required qualifications include an earned doctorate (or ABD status) in educational psychology, measurement, assessment, evaluation, or a related area; and specific expertise in school-based assessment, data-driven decision-making for instructional purposes, and evaluation research. Preferred qualifications include K-12 and/or graduate-level teaching experience, and a demonstrated record of (or strong potential for) external funding and consequential research contributions.
