Assistant/Associate Professor, Quantitative Research Methods (Tenure-Track)
The George Mason University, College of Education and Human Development (CEHD) invites applications for a tenure-line position focused on research design and quantitative analysis.
Responsibilities include teaching and mentoring doctoral and master’s students, conducting and disseminating research, and collaborating with other faculty on projects requiring methodological expertise.
An earned doctorate is required. Preferred qualifications include university teaching experience, interest in interdisciplinary collaboration, strong mentoring capabilities, and a record of (or strong potential for) consequential scholarship and externally funded research.

Required qualifications include an earned doctorate (or ABD status) in educational psychology, measurement, assessment, evaluation, or a related area; and specific expertise in school-based assessment, data-driven decision-making for instructional purposes, and evaluation research. Preferred qualifications include K-12 and/or graduate-level teaching experience, and a demonstrated record of (or strong potential for) external funding and consequential research contributions.
