Date of Appointment:  Fall 2016

We seek a faculty colleague with expertise in one or both of the following areas:

Access and equity in higher education, which may include the study of college student access and equity; organizational and leadership dynamics; and the study of public policy issues related to these concerns.

Diversity in higher education, which may include research on student, faculty, and staff diversity, particularly issues of race, ethnicity, class, gender, and sexual orientation; the contribution of diverse educational environments to college teaching and learning; and intersections among diversity, access, and equity issues.

Regardless of area, we seek a scholar who can build on his or her expertise to play a major role in the creation and use of scholarship in higher education, who has strong methodological training in qualitative and/or quantitative methods, who has the ability to teach courses in the areas identified above, and who seeks to influence institutional, national and/or international policies and practices that will improve higher education.  We are especially interested in candidates who will contribute to programmatic efforts aimed at developing a climate that supports equality and diversity for all students.  Please see our diversity strategic plan for more information.
