Penn State University, University Park, PA, is seeking to fill an open-rank, tenure-track position in Educational Psychology co-funded by the College of Education and the Institute for CyberScience (ICS).  The successful candidate will have expertise in the methodologies that intend to capture the complex, dynamic processes involved in learning and instruction through the use of computationally intensive and/or data intensive approaches.  As an ICS co-hire, the successful candidate will also have expertise in cyber-enabled research, including the development and application of innovative computational methods, and is expected to engage in interdisciplinary research that relies substantially on some combination of big data, complex simulations, machine learning, and  related methodologies.
