This post-doc position provides a unique opportunity for an early/mid-career researcher to jump-start their academic career. The successful applicant will work closely and co-author articles in leading journals with Professors Jacqueline Eccles, Reinhard Pekrun, and Herb Marsh who are among the world’s leading researchers in educational psychology and motivation (with a combined Google Scholar H-Index of 486). Professors Eccles and Pekrun each spend part of the year at ACU’s Institute of Positive Psychology and Education (IPPE). This post doc position is designed to provide year-around support for their research programs at IPPE. In addition to being the “Research Lieutenant” for Professors Eccles and Pekrun, the post doc would also be supervised/mentored by Professor Marsh and have the opportunity to work with other outstanding academics at IPPE, including educational psychology/motivation researchers such as Richard Ryan, Ed Deci, Rhonda Craven, Philip Parker, Chris Lonsdale, Alex Yeung, Joseph Ciarrochi, and a strong team of early/mid-career researchers.
