The Research Institute of Professional Practice, Learning and Education (RIPPLE) is a multi-disciplinary research centre that conducts high-quality applied research and consultation in the field of professional practice and implications for professional learning and education. Within this broad rubric, central concerns are issues of epistemology, quality, responsibility and the development of intra and inter disciplinary communities of practice.

Through its research and development work, the Institute enhances practice in a range of professions and fields, including education, health and professional practice, by influencing practice and practice education.

CSU has received funding to establish an Excellence in Research in Early Years Education Collaborative Research Network (CRN). The CRN is located within RIPPLE, with network members distributed across several campuses. CSU is partnering with the Queensland University of Technology and Monash University in the CRN, to form one of the largest networks of early childhood researchers in the world.

The Post Doctoral Research Fellow/Research Fellow will work closely with the CRN Co-Directors and other Senior Researchers across three institutions to achieve ambitious outcomes, particularly the development of a proposal for landmark national study/ies focussing on early years education (birth to eight years of age). As Post Doctoral Research Fellow/Research Fellow you will assist with researching and developing the landmark study/ies and related, smaller, externally funded studies.

Applicants are expected to apply online (www.csu.edu.au/jobs) and address the selection criteria listed in the position description.
