The University of South Dakota, located in the vibrant college town of Vermillion, invites applications for the position of Post-doctoral Researcher in the School of Education. Position Summary: The Post-doctoral Researcher will be responsible for providing grant coordination services and serving as the primary contact for administrative tasks related to a federally funded training grant. This includes tasks such as deliverable preparation, ordering materials, and scheduling. The successful candidate will receive mentorship from School Psychology faculty in their areas of professional interest, including graduate-level teaching, clinical supervision, and applied research – these are expected comprise a significant portion of the post-doctoral researcher’s time.

Requirements:

  • An earned doctorate in School Psychology or a related field by the position start date.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with school personnel and a collaborative training team.
  • Preferred qualifications include prior experience in grant and/or project management, as well as experience working in high-needs LEAs (Local Education Agencies) and with PK-12 students.
