Postdoctoral position, 2014-2016, working with Dr. Robert Siegler on children’s math learning at Carnegie Mellon University. The research focuses on describing the development of mathematical knowledge and on generating means for improving learning, especially in populations with learning difficulties. Candidates should have strong knowledge of cognitive development and/or learning research, methodology, and statistics, as well as boundless enthusiasm for doing research. Prior knowledge of math development research desirable but not required. This position begins September 1, 2014.
