The National Science Foundation’s Behavioral and Cognitive Sciences Division has recently posted a position for a rotating Program Director in the Science of Learning. Rotators serve by taking a leave of absence from their universities or current appointments for between 1 and 3 years to serve as a Program Director. It is an opportunity to learn about the inner goings-on of the Foundation and play an integral role in shaping research on learning. Because the Foundation wants rotators who are active researchers in their field, there is excellent support for rotators’ ability to maintain their own research activities while at the Foundation.
Applicants may have a degree in psychology, cognitive science, learning science, and/or neuroscience and should be at least 6 years post-Ph.D. Applications will be accepted through October 28, 2014.
