Position: Department of Educational Psychology at the University of North Texas (UNT) seeks a senior lecturer with an established record of strength in teaching and service to support the Department’s academic, professional, and scholarly initiatives. The successful candidate will serve a nine-month, non-tenure-track appointment beginning fall semester 2015. Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience and background.
Qualifications: The candidate must hold a doctorate in an area closely aligned with Family Sciences (Family Studies, Educational Psychology, or a closely related discipline) prior to starting date. A record of effective teaching and service is expected, with a required minimum of three years teaching at the college or university level.
Responsibilities: The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the continued development and success of the Department of Educational Psychology and the Human Development and Family Science undergraduate program. Specific responsibilities will include teaching 4 family related undergraduate courses per semester, and participating actively in service to the Department and the College.
