The Department of Educational Studies, College of Education and Human Ecology, at The Ohio State University seek a dynamic instructor with expertise in Quantitative Research, Evaluation and Measurement (QREM). This one-year appointment, at the Senior Lecturer level, will help to fill current needs in the academic area within the Department. This position provides an opportunity for a talented candidate to work with our distinguished faculty in QREM, and contribute to our growing graduate program.
The Senior Lecturer in the QREM program will teach introductory, intermediate, and advance level graduate courses such as Introduction to Educational Research, Introduction to Educational Statistics, Regression Analysis, Introduction to Educational Evaluation, and Applied Evaluation Design. Specific teaching responsibilities will be determined in consultation with the QREM program chair and the Department chair.
Qualifications: Earned doctorate in educational research or related area at the time of appointment, and relevant teaching experience at the undergraduate and/or graduate levels. Strong candidates will have a record of excellence in undergraduate and/or graduate level instruction, with research experience sufficient to support the academic mission of our students and the Department.
Position: This position is a full time, 9-month appointment that will require teaching eight (8) courses during the appointment period (e.g., teaching four courses per semester). This is a one- year position with possible renewal, depending on funding and need.
Salary: Commensurate with qualifications and experience.
