The department of Educational Psychology at UW-Madison seeks a tenure track assistant professor to join its Learning Sciences program area. Candidates must have an earned doctorate in the Learning Sciences or a related field and an empirical research program in the learning sciences, with a record of or potential for ongoing funding. While all areas within the Learning Sciences will be considered, we particularly encourage candidates interested in collaborative work that will complement current research strengths by focusing on learning and cognition in STEM education, educational neuroscience, and/or educational technology. Candidates should have a background in both qualitative and quantitative research methods although they may predominantly use one or the other in their work.

The individual hired for the position is expected to teach graduate and undergraduate courses in the interdisciplinary program in learning sciences; conduct research and publish in scholarly journals; advise graduate students; serve on departmental and university committees; and perform university and community service as appropriate. Salary is commensurate with experience.
