The Auburn University at Montgomery School of Education invites applications for tenure track positions beginning Spring or Fall Semester, 2015 in the areas listed below:

Department of Foundations. Technology. & Secondary Education Assistant/Associate Professor: Position #1: Candidates must hold a terminal degree in Instructional Technology, Instructional Design, or the

equivalent.  A minimum of three years of K-12 teaching experience is preferred. Teaching responsibilities will primarily comprise graduate level courses in masters and education specialist degree programs and may include courses in instructional design, computer-based instructional strategies, adult learning theory, coordinating technology use, current and emerging instructional technology, and action research in instructional technology. Position #2: Candidates must hold a terminal degree in Curriculum and Instructions, Foundations of Education, or the equivalent. A minimum of three years of K-12 teaching experience is required. Teaching responsibilities may include courses in social foundations of education, child and adolescent growth, educational psychology, measurement and evaluation in teaching, and the supervision of pre-service teachers during internship or field experiences. The candidates for these positions must also exhibit potential for teaching excellence, knowledge of emerging trends in the field, and a working knowledge of how students learn.  Evidence of scholarly productivity or a well­ developed research agenda is required. Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.
