The University of Tennessee, Knoxville is hiring three tenure-track Assistant Professors in Research Methodology, to begin Fall 2027.
This is a cluster hire across three areas:
- Advanced Quantitative Methods
- Education Data Science Methods
- Qualitative Research Methods
We’re looking for early-career scholars with rigorous, innovative methodological research agendas, including scholars thinking critically about emerging methodological challenges and the opportunities, limitations, and implications of AI for research.
Two positions will join our Evaluation, Statistics, and Methodology program, and the Education Data Science position will join Computing, AI, and Data Analytics in Education. The three faculty will be part of a broader community working across departments on research, graduate education, and methodological training.
