The UNLV Educational Psychology and Learning Sciences programs invite applicants for a full-time, non-tenure-track Visiting Assistant Professor position beginning in August 2022. The Educational Psychology and Learning Sciences programs prepare students to become independent scholars who are able to make significant contributions to knowledge in specialized areas of educational psychology and/or learning sciences.

Our goal is to recruit applicants who will provide excellent instruction in a wide variety of foundational educational psychology courses such as educational psychology and foundations of assessment for undergraduate or graduate students in a teacher licensure program, introductory research methods, lifespan development, and introductory statistics.

The UNLV Educational Psychology and Learning Sciences programs include a Master of Science degree (with or without an emphasis in quantitative research methods), a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology with a Foundations strand and an Assessment and Quantitative Analysis strand, and a Ph.D. in Learning Sciences as well as Graduate Certificates in Qualitative Research Methods, Mixed Methods Research, and Program Evaluation and Assessment. Program delivery includes traditional-in person classes, online asynchronous delivery, remote delivery, and hybrid. Qualified applicants should be prepared to contribute to the teaching mission of the Educational Psychology and/or Learning Sciences programs at the graduate level.
