The Faculty of Learning Sciences and Technologies in the School of Education announces the availability of a one-year, visiting Assistant Professor position in Learning Sciences. This is an academic year position. Date of appointment will be August 10, 2014.

Qualifications:  Experience with or potential for teaching Learning Sciences courses at the graduate level. 

Desirable: an earned doctorate in Learning Sciences, Instructional Design and Technology, or a related field: “ABD” candidates will be considered.

Responsibilities: Teach graduate courses in Learning Sciences, including Introduction to Learning Sciences and such courses as Digitally Mediated Learning, Interactive Multimedia Design, Game-based Learning, and/or related Seminar(s) to be determined. 

Context: The Faculty of Learning Sciences & Technologies in the School of Education at Virginia Tech offers programs at the Master’s and Ph.D. levels.
